Six Behind Wednesday

The band Six Behind Wednesday was formed in late 2010. It started with two friends jamming on bass and drums, Art (of Portuguese heritage, or Luso-American) and Dustin. Art called up his cousin Christian (also Luso-American), who plays guitar and then there were three jammers. Christian’s mother, an English teacher in the Neshaminy school district, suggested one of her students as a singer to complete their band and along
came Anya. They became known as the band Six Behind
Wednesday, and had their very first gig at the Day of Portugal Festival at Penn's landing in the summer of 2011. They have since been invited to play a couple shows at a local church for their youth nights in Newtown, Bucks County, and have also played at the Penn State Abington campus.

Aside from the band, the guys do have their own personal lives. Art is a graduate of Council Rock North, ranked among Pennsylvania’s top high schools, and is currently a music major at Temple University. He hopes to own his own record label. Dustin is also a Council Rock North
grad, currently studying to be a nutritionist at Bucks County Community College. A healthy lifestyle is important to him along with music. Christian
is a graduate of Central High School, the most competitive high school in the Philadelphia region, and is currently perusing a bachelor’s degree at Penn State.

Latest News:
The band is now unfortunately without Anya, their female lead singer, as she has recently moved to Ireland! The three guys are holding strong, taking over the instrumentals and vocals, but would be accepting of a new singer if he or she were the right fit for Six Behind Wednesday.
